Series: Alice Dippleblack
 Status: Complete
Alice Dippleblack is a fantasy adventure series with strong sword and sorcery elements. The story takes place in a fantastical world of anthropomorphic animals, magic, and monsters. The series follows a trio of orphaned girls from diverse backgrounds as they struggle to survive in a world torn by war.

Alice is a Tokala, or anthropomorphic fox, and the story is largely told from her perspective. A simple country girl living in the small village of Toki, she strives to fill the much needed role of monster hunter. Before being claimed by the war, Alice's father left her with his trusted sword, with which the young vixen fends off the strange jelly monsters that wobble out of the nearby forest to threaten her home.

Danahlia is a Liguna, or lizard girl from the cold blooded nation of Feoria. When the war began, she and her family were traveling through Warm Blood ruled Arsalia, the vast kingdom in which Alice resides. War reigniting old hatreds between the rival nations, Danahlia's family was killed, with her being the last survivor. The border between Feoria and Arsalia now ferociously fought over battle grounds, Danahlia seeks to keep hidden in hostile Arsalia, hoping to out live the conflict.

Twinkaleni is a Murin, one of the diminutive mouse people of Arsalia. Despite her size, she none the less possess incredible magical powers. Like all those born with the touch of magic, Twikaleni was taken in by the Order of Thermathrogi to be trained as a battle mage to support the war effort and enforce Arsalia's rule. Unwilling to bring death at the command of others, Twinkaleni escaped the brain washing institution and now must try to keep from it's long reach.

Brought together by fate, the girls struggle to survive, learning of life, love, and loss all while trying to find their place in the chaotic world around them.

Orphaned, Alice Dippleblack struggles to survive in a world torn by war. With the men off fighting, the young Tokala tries to fill the much needed role of monster hunter for her small village. Alice is just starting to find her feet when a run in with an unlikely pair ends up taking her on an eye opening journey of adventure, magic, and friendship.

Learning of an agent sent after Twinkaleni from the dreaded Order of Thermathrogi, Alice and her friends have left the pixie forest in an effort to put as much distance between themselves and the mage hunter as they can.

After a harrowing battle with a mage hunter, only surviving because of the sacrifice of friends they had know for too short a time, the girls journey onward. The losses fuel Twinkaleni's determination to see the Order fall and her fellow mages freed. To this end, she encourages Alice and Danahlia to join her in preparing themselves for the struggles to come.

Finding what they come to believe is an unhatched dragon egg, Alice and her friends carry the treasure with renewed determination to reach Arsalia's northern border. Dragons, commonly thought to be long extinct, were once the greatest symbols of military might in the world. With the allure of so much power, even the rumor of a dragon's egg in Arsalia could bring untold dangers upon the girls. But leaving it is out of the question. For with a dragon, Twinkaleni's faint hope of freeing her fellow magic wielders from the chains of the Order become a very real possibility.

Alice and her friends are steadily becoming more confident in their ability to survive in their new home. The girls enjoy venturing about, exploring, hunting, and discovering all the Gadara mountains have to offer. Far from civilization and under the protection of their growing dragon, Alice, Danahlia, and Kaliska revel in their new freedom, though Twinkaleni keeps focused on her mission. As the small Murin's mastery over magic continues to grow, so too does her determination to see her people freed.

The Blood War has finally ended, but a new conflict is brewing in the north. Reports of strange invaders boldly attacking entire cities reach Arsalia's capital. After losing an army to this unknown threat, the Royal Council calls upon the kingdom's only dragon rider for aid. But even as Alice Dippleblack rises to the challenge, she soon discovers not all is as it seems.
