The Jellybane Chapter 8

Chapter 7, we're on to Chapter 8.

After the morning's teeth clenching battle, the girls celebrate a well earned victory. The spoils granting them food and rights to a stream, they decide to stay and rest a while. But keeping stationary in the forest can draw in some unexpected company.

Chapter 7 is done.

After an especially busy month, Chapter 7 is finally down.

 

 With their success catching and cooking the giant ant, Alice and her friends look into hunting up some more food for themselves. And end up with far more than they bargained for.

 

I'll be editing for the next few day and will be looking for beta readers once I'm done. Also, as I'm coming closer to the end of the book, I'll be looking for cover artists as well. Getting back on Track

Hey folks, so after yet another glorious bout with depression, this one lasting the last few weeks, I finally feel the insidious foe's forces being routed at last.

Now, after too long a time, I've finally gotten myself to start writing again and continue with the remake of

Chapter 7

After their success with a giant ant, the girls eagerly seek out other possible food sources the forest has to offer. But after several days of failure, worry and tensions rise as their bought stores dwindle with every rationed meal.

The Jellybane Chapter 6: The Tail of a Mouse

Just finished writing Chapter 6: The Tail of a Mouse.

 

In it, the girls have been sent fleeing into the forest by angry villagers. One morning, they discovery a giant ant scrounging around and manage to catch it. As their breakfast cooks over a fire, Twinkaleni reveals a bit about her past, the mysterious Order of Thermathrogi, and how she came to lose her tail.

 

 I'll be editing this chapter for a few days, then I'll be looking for beta readers to help look it over. Gain early access by volunteering! All you need to do is send me your email so I can send you the chapter when it's ready.

In this chapter, a simple trade run into Toki turns into a run for their lives as the girls are forced to flee the tiny village. Accusations of treason bite at Alice's heels as she wonders if she will ever be able to return to the only place she'd ever called home.
