In it, Alice meets Danahlia and Twinkaleni for the very first time. The liguna and merin, becoming desperate after losing their last supplies to the voracious jellies of the forest, strike a deal with the young hunter, forming a much needed partnership. Suspicious but eager for company on her solitary hunt, Alice seeks to learn more about the unusual pair. Who are they? Where did they come from? And why are they here?
