Hey guys, after a few days' editing, I believe Chapter 3: Among the Trees is now ready for a first round of Beta Readers.
In this chapter, Alice begins her awaited expedition into the forest to hunt for rare colored jellies and their more valuable core stones. During her search she runs into two strangers. Needing cores in the hopes of replacing lost supplies, they propose a partnership with the young hunter. Clearly keeping much to themselves, Alice can only wonder what secrets the mysterious duo possess.
Beta Readers look over works of literature in order to offer feedback from the point of an average reader. They are invaluable for hammering out errors and smoothing the rough edges of stories so that the later completed work is all the better for the public.
